Microsoft Edge Legacy
Edge is the default browser for Windows 10.
It is built with Microsoft's browser engine EdgeHTML and their Chakra Built with a JavaScript engine.
The first version (12-18) of Edge is now called "Edge Legacy".
Microsoft's support for Edge Legacy ended on March 9, 2021.
Future Windows updates will replace The New Edge Replacing Edge Legacy.

The new Edge
The new Microsoft Edge is based on Chromium, with Blink and V8 Engine.
It was released in January 2020 and is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10.
It can also be downloaded for macOS, iOS, and Android.
New Edge FollowsModern Lifecycle Policy(Updated approximately every six weeks).

Older Applications
Many old computers (such as public libraries) are still using Internet Explorer.
