Vincular DataSet ao controle Repeater

O controle Repeater é usado para exibir listas de itens repetidos, que são limitados dentro do controle. O controle Repeater pode ser vinculado a tabelas de banco de dados, arquivos XML ou outras listas de itens. Aqui, mostraremos como vincular um arquivo XML a um controle Repeater.

Vamos usar o seguinte arquivo XML ("cdcatalog.xml") no exemplo:

Por favor, verifique o arquivo XML abaixo:cdcatalog.xml

Primeiro, importe o espaço de nomes "System.Data". Precisamos deste espaço de nomes para trabalhar com o objeto DataSet. No topo da página .aspx, inclua a seguinte instrução:

A seguir, criamos um DataSet para este arquivo XML e carregamos o arquivo XML no DataSet quando a página é carregada pela primeira vez:

Em seguida, criamos um controle Repeater na página .aspx. O conteúdo do <HeaderTemplate> é exibido apenas uma vez na saída, enquanto o conteúdo do <ItemTemplate> é repetido conforme o "record" no DataSet, e finalmente, o conteúdo do <FooterTemplate> é exibido apenas uma vez na saída:

Em seguida, adicionamos o script que cria o DataSet e vinculamos o DataSet mycdcatalog ao controle Repeater. Usamos também tags HTML para preencher o controle Repeater e utilizamos o método <%#Container.DataItem("fieldname")%> para vincular o item de dados ao campo dentro do <ItemTemplate>:

Usar <AlternatingItemTemplate>

Você pode adicionar o elemento <AlternatingItemTemplate> após o <ItemTemplate> para descrever o estilo das linhas alternadas. No exemplo a seguir, cada linha ímpar da tabela é exibida com um fundo cinza claro:
