ownerElement The attribute returns the element node to which the attribute is attached.

Example

The following code loads "books.xml" into xmlDoc and returns the first element node attached to the category attribute:

var xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();

   if (this.readyState == 4 && this.status == 200) {
