getElementsByTagName()
The method returns a NodeList of all elements with the specified name.
Syntax
getElementsByTagName(name)
parameter | description |
---|---|
name | A string that specifies the tag name to be searched. The value "*" matches all tags. |
Example
The following code loads "books.xml" into xmlDoc and displays the value of the first <title> element:
