XML DOM createElement() Method

createElement() Method to create an element node.

This method returns an Element object.

Syntax

createElement(name)
Parameter Description
name String, specifies the name of the element node.

Example

The following code loads "books.xml" into xmlDoc and adds an element node with a text node to each <book> element:

xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() {
   if (this.readyState == 4 && this.status == 200) {
