XSLT <xsl:param> element
Definition and Usage
<xsl:param> element is used to declare local or global parameters.
Note:If a parameter is declared within a template, it is a local parameter. If it is declared as a top-level element, it is a global parameter.
Syntax
<xsl:param name="name" select="expression"> <!-- Content:template --> </xsl:param>
Attribute
Attribute | Value | Description |

select | expression | Optional. Specifies the XPath expression that is the default value of the parameter. |
