Элемент extension расширяет элементы simpleType или complexType.

Атрибуты Описание
id Опционально. Определяет уникальный идентификатор этого элемента.
base Обязателен. Определяет имя встроенного типа данных, simpleType или элемента complexType.
xml:lang Опционально. Определяет используемый в содержании язык.

(Символ объявления в элементе extension, который может出现在 нуль раз или один раз, символ * указывает, что элемент может出现在 нуль раз или несколько раз).
