PHP utf8_decode() function

Definition and Usage

The utf8_decode() function decodes UTF-8 strings to ISO-8859-1.

This function converts an ISO-8859-1 encoded string encoded in UTF-8 to a single-byte ISO-8859-1 string.

If successful, the function will return the decoded string; otherwise, it will return false.
