تعریف و استفاده

عنصر <xsl:otherwise> تعریف می‌کند که رفتار پیش‌فرض عناصر <xsl:choose> است. در صورت عدم تطابق هیچ <xsl:when>، این رفتار رخ می‌دهد.

مثال

مثال 1

کد زیر در صورت اینکه قیمت cd بیشتر از 30 باشد، به جدول artist رنگ پس‌زمینه صورتی اضافه می‌کند، در غیر این صورت تنها نام artist را نمایش می‌دهد:

مثال 2

یک متغیر به نام "color" تعریف می‌شود. ارزش آن به ویژگی color عناصر فعلی اختصاص داده می‌شود. اگر عناصر فعلی ویژگی color نداشته باشند، ارزش "color" به "green" خواهد بود:
