Definición y uso

ownerDocument La propiedad devuelve el elemento raíz del nodo (objeto documento).

Sintaxis

attrObject.ownerDocument

Ejemplo

El siguiente código carga "books.xml" en xmlDoc y devuelve el elemento raíz del primer nodo con la propiedad category:

var xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() {
