Definition and usage
UTC()
The method returns the milliseconds between the specified date and midnight on January 1, 1970, based on UTC.
Tip:Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the time set by the world time standard.
Note:UTC time is the same as GMT time (Greenwich Mean Time).
Example
Example 1
Returns the milliseconds between the specified date and midnight on January 1, 1970:
var d = Date.UTC(2012, 02, 30);
Example 2
Create a date object using UTC time instead of local time:
var d = new Date(Date.UTC(2012, 02, 30));
Syntax
Date.UTC(year, month, day, hours, minutes, seconds, millisec)
